Antonoil Drilling Tool Manufacture Center is a joint venture established by Anton Oilfield Services (Group) Ltd. and North Heavy Industries Group Corp. Ltd.. It is built on smelting, casting and forging, deep-hole machining and physical and chemical inspection of special steels from North Heavy Industries Group Corp which set up a physical and chemical lab that is the national metrology & measurement qualified institution and the first-grade physical and chemical detection institution of China North Industries Group Corporation. The lab passed the certification of the national metrology & measurement detection system which is the highest accreditation by the competent authorities of the metrology & measurement for enterprise. It passed the accreditation of the testing and calibration lab of China National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories in October, 2002.
The Center has the annual capacity of 12000 weighted drill pipes and drill collars, with complete processes and powerful productivity. Available services range in Φ28mm~Φ1400mm, with max. length of 18000mm. Its products are sold to more than 50 countries, subject to SY/T5144, SY/T5146, API SPEC7 and ISO 10424.

Five large 12m-long vertical heat-treating furnaces and other continuous heat treating furnace, and normalizing, tempering and quenching of all roughcasts in terms of varied technological requirements.

Meet SY/T5144, SY/T5146, API SPEC7 and ISO 10424..
■ Chemical composition control
The steel used for the integral weighted drill pipe and drill collar are all refined with sulphur and phosphorus content ≤0.03%.
■ Control of manufacturing workmanship
Each weighted drill pipe or collar is configured with workmanship sheet which is signed by the machining person after each process is finished and signed for confirmation after the inspection person rechecks.
■ Control of mechanical properties
After heat treating, two pieces must be cut off both ends of each weighted drill pipe or drill collar to perform mechanical property testing. Only the mechanical properties of the two ends meet the requirements, can the next process go on.

■ Drill collar specification
All series of drill collars for 12m or less (A Type-column, B Type-spiral and C Type-nonmagnetic). The main specification is 3⅛~11",and material is AISI 4145H.
■ Spiral drill collar
On the drill collar are machined the spiral groove, stress breakup groove, elevator groove and slip groove as required by the users..
■ Integral weighted drill pipe
Integral weighted drill pipe is fabricated with AISI 4145Halloy steel with integral heat treatment of its material and uniform material property.
The integral weighted drill pipe is available for 3½". 4½". 5"and5½"specification.. Other integral weighted drill pipes are also available subject to the users’ needs.
