The Nondestructive Testing Center of Anton Oilfield Services (Group) Ltd., established in 2002, has passed the laboratory accreditation by China National Accreditation Service For Conformity Assessment and obtained the qualification certificate. It is the specialized testing institution that engages in testing and assessment of drilling tools. With several years of improvements and expanding, Antonoil testing has developed into a specialized testing team which consists of over 80 testing personnel. It provides services of drilling tool testing and assessment to Tarim, Tuha, Sichuan, Jidong, Liaohe and Tahe oilfields as well as the oversea oilfields like Kazakhstan, etc.

The Center has complete and diversified testing instrument and equipment in good conditions, meeting the requirements for testing and assessment of all drilling tools.

The Center has perfect equipment management system and complete equipment operation and maintenance records, which include clear identification and regular measuring calibration of all measuring instruments that guarantees the correct and reliable testing reports.

Testing personnel
There are totally over 80 on-site testing personnel who hold certificates of the junior college or above, and received professional technical training. They possess abundant drilling tool knowledge and in-depth nondestructive testing experience. Among them, 30 persons obtained Grade-II ultrasonic and magnetic powder certificates issued by China Non-Destructive Testing Institute (NDTI -CMES) and 4 persons for Grade-III ultrasonic and magnetic powder certificates; 10 persons for Grade-II ultrasonic and magnetic powder certificates issued by American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) and 10 persons for the operation qualification certificates for American OEM electromagnetic testing equipment.

■ It has performed the testing and assessment on totally over one million joints of drill pipes, drill collars, tubing and other tubulars with testing over 1000 joints per day.
■ Complete drilling tool nondestructive testing techniques have been established using electromagnetic, ultrasonic and magnetic powder testing methods.
