Inner coating of drill pipe and tubing

1. Features and performance
Modified epoxy phenolic resin is excellent in temperature, pressure and corrosion resistance, in which the special additives results in high structural cross-bonding and dense uniformity of coating that ensure the great isolation of the corrosive media.
The pre-processing and exclusive spraying techniques enable the coating adhesion to reach Grade B or above.
Full-pipe leak detection technique ensures coating quality.
Premium mechanical performance makes coating not cracked and scaled off when the coated pipe is acted on by the pulling, pressing, bending and twisting jointly.

2. Mechanism
A layer of organic rigid material is applied on the metal base pipe and isolates the metal base from the external corrosive media (such as water, bacteria, brine, acid, dissolved oxygen, etc.). For its good corrosion resistance and extra high tightness, it can prevent all sorts of corrosive media from entering the metal base under the coating to play a role of isolating protection and corrosion control.
Organic coating has the smooth surface that makes scale and wax hard to be adhered and also improves transfer efficiency..
Premium wear-resistant performance can effectively reduce the inside-pipe medium corrosion to the pipe body.

3. Improvements
Corrosion problems occur for the petroleum dedicated pipes in cases of HTHP, high H2S, high CO2, high Cl, etc.
Corrosion problems result from flushing of all kinds of fluids in the inner wall of petroleum dedicated pipes(especially in the gas production well and drill pipe).
Reduced fluid efficiency, plugging and accompanying corrosion problems result from scale and wax settling in the inner wall of petroleum dedicated pipes(especially in the gas production well and drill pipe).
Such failures as hydrogen brittleness and stress concentration result from ion infiltration in the metal base of the petroleum dedicated pipes.

4. Application and effects.
Applicable in the conditions below 200℃, 1~13 pH value, up to H2S and CO2 contents of 10% and 95%, Cl content below 300000ppm and internal pressure below 70MPa.
Above 85% scale settling volume on the metal surface.
The use life of the drill pipe is raised by 2 ~ 3 times  and the use life of the tubing and casing is raised by 3 ~ 5 times.
The fluid efficiency of the inner wall in the petroleum dedicated pipe is increased by 15% ~ 25%.
