FYH automatic welding equipment for anti-wear band FYH automatic welding equipment for anti-wear band is our self-developed patent used to welding of ARNCO100XT and 300XT flux cored wire. The equipment, mainly used to automatic welding of anti-wear band for drilling pipe, weighted drill pipe, drilling collar and other downhole tools, is home-made equipment exclusively authorized by Arnco Technology Trust Ltd. for series of welding wire.

Performance ■ The equipment is highly automatic, simple to operate and stable in quality. ■ The equipment is compact, applicable for both field and indoors; ■ Water cooling device is configured in bench assembly, thus cooling welding gun to ensure the reliability of long time work. ■ 3D adjustable ram and swing structure are configured for the welding gun. The welding is operated by Mitsubishi PLC. With parameters input, the process will go ahead automatically. ■ Breaching cartridge is adopted in the equipment, with no impacts by length of drilling pipe. It can meet requirements of welding at any place. ■ The relocation of welding gun is high accurate, with error no more than 0.15mm; ■ Host housing, electrical cabinet, operation box and skid mounted engineering room are all processed by paint and convenient to transport.

Structure and Principle FYH automatic welding equipment for anti-wear band, protected by carbon dioxide, can weld the drill adapter by automatic wire drive feeder, automatic swing of welding gun, rotation of drilling pipe. Wire drive feeder is connected to a welding gun through hose. Gear box of chief axis is installed on bench. There is a bonding structure under the chief axis, which can adjust the tightness of spring, to form a return circuit. Cartridge grips workpiece. One end of the workpiece is supported by ball arm. Adjust structure of welding gun includes vertical, transverse direction and machine direction adjustable ram and swing structure. The whole equipment is controlled by PLC hub with high accuracy and LSIC to completely realize the automatic operation. When the user inputs instructions and parameters required and the welding host is powered on, striking, ending arc, seaming control is operated automatically, and the welding thickness, width and bridging width can also be recorded automatically.
