Power slips are designed as alternatives to conventional power slips, for running drill pipes, drill collars, casing and tubing. It improves tripping efficiency and reduce the labor intensity and operational cost. DEN-CON is a specialized manufacturer for platform handling tools and lifting systems in drilling and workover and has been certified by API SPEC 7K, API SPEC 8C and ISO /API Q1.

1. PCS air slip
   Benefits
■  Reverse double elevator operation is not required, to avoid "single elevator link" accident and reduce the trip time.
■  In shallow wells, the power slips have better effects for shorter tripping time, faster and bigger labor intensity.
■  Proper button pattern of power slip and mechanical property without damage to drill pipes.

Structural composition
■ Lifter (designed for 37½″and 27½″rotary table)..
■ Slip body and slip insert (short, standard and extended)..
■ (pin drive or square drive) rotary table bushing..

Features
■ In case of rotary table pin drive, the two band pins of the lifter can be fixed into the drive hole of rotary table bushing..
■ In case of rotary table square drive, the rotary table bushing of DEN -CON square drive shall be configured separately.
■ Up and down movements of slips can be operated by the two remote pedals on the platform or in the dog house..
■ A air line is connected to the driller’s control cabinet with the rigid protection Bourdon tube, the normal working pressure is 0.8MPa..
■ When handling, the air supply is blocked, the automatic safety valve with working pressure 0.3~ 1.0 MPa would be actuated..
■ In case of blocked air supply, the slip can be manually operated for tripping by using the handles on the slip body..
■ If there is a complicated case in tripping, readily pull out the drive pin and dismantle the lifter.

Performance
■ Lifter: size 950mm× 630mm× 410mm, weight about 100 kg (not including slip body).
■ Working index is 15000-20000 times for the telescopic cylinder of lifting device.
■ Use index for master bushing is 30 years and use index for slip body is over 3 years.

2. FG multi-functional power slip.
FG multi-functional power slip is designed by DEN -CON especially for high-load drilling tools or casing in the deep well.  FG -3A multi-functional power slip fit for 49? or above rotary tables, which replaces the existing rotary table, is entirely seated in the rotary table with the max. load of 750 tons. If the user uses 37?″rotary table, FG -2A multi-functional power slip can be chosen with the rated load of 500 tons.

■ Hinge body (replacing existing 49 rotary table bushing).
■ Split guiding top cover.
■ Power lifting system.
■ Power supply (as required by the user).
■ Slip body assembly (including slip insert load carrier and slip inserts).

Features.
■ To handle drill collars, drill pipes, tubing and casing.
■ Available tools 2?″~ 20″, and the maximum open hole diameter is 30″excluding the slip body.
■ 4-segment slip configuration will allow grip of heavy load in the deep well.
■ Quick change of 500 tons and 750 tons can be made by only replacing the slip body.
■ There are hydraulic, pneumatic and electric power supplies as required by the users.
