I. Theory Loss-control killing fluid can be utilized in LP wells (pressure coefficient ≤ 1.0). The killing fluid is made of macromolecule materials. Due to restriction to free water in system, it is not easy to generate filtration that penetrates into formation. Therefore, it can be used for LP wells with single pay zone or multi-pressure system pay zone.
II. Technical Features ■ No free liquid, no solid, good liquidity, easy to pump through, and convenient to run and pull BHAs ■ Medium-level viscosity, excellent solid carrying capacity ■ It can form temporary sealing matrix at the surface of the pay zone to hold pressure. ■ Safe and environmentally friendly ■ Easy to be mixed and handled
III. Performance Parameter ■ Density: 1.00 g/cm³~1.03 g/cm³ ■ Viscosity : 30mPa.s~100mPa.s ■ Temperature: Atmospheric temperature~140℃ ■ Stable Time:30 days
IV. Applications Meet the requirements of work conditions for completions, testing, workover and FCO (Fills clean out) in LP wells (pressure coefficient ≤ 1.0): ■ Single zone operation: Leakage-proof ■ Multi-zone operation: Keep high pressure coefficient well under control and prevent leakage in low pressure coefficient well ■ Effectively perform operations such as sand removal, transforming flowing well into pump well, killing well, and workover. ■ Circulation can be setup in LP wells to perform sand removal operation.
