1. Principle
AOC -140L is coated on the surface of the sucker rod. which gives out excellent capability to resist corrosion from any corrosive media in the well and reduces the abrasion to the inner wall of the tubing by common sucker rod. The coating can also improve the corrosion fatigue life, with no impact on the strength and plasticity of the sucker rod.

2. Performance
■ Porosity: ferroxyl test shows: flat surface 10, coating porosity ＞ Grade 8
■ Thickness: customize according to actual media, with 30?m~ 60?m recommended
■ Coating internal stress: Normally compressive stress,  sometimes tensile, depending on the operating conditions
■ Hardness: HRC＞40

3. Applications
■ Applicable for severely corroded wells. It is not recommended for the well with serious eccentric abrasion and especially great sand production..
■ Alloy coating is with brittleness, so damage to it (e.g. from clamps) should be minimized.

4. Cases history
AOC anti-corrosion sucker rod has been used in over 20 wells in some highly corrosive blocks, such as Karamay and Jilin. It presents excellent resistance to corrosion, significantly prolonged the operating life of the sucker rod.
