1.  Principles
AOC -140 powder is coated on the surface of polished rod, which forms a anti-corrosion/abrasion alloy coating on the surface of the rod through heating and remelting treatment in unique process. By this way, it meets the requirements for both high strength and corrosion/wear resistance. The combination strength between remelted coating and base rod is up to metallurgical grade, close to the strength of the base rod material. where the quenched and tempered 20CrMo steel is used.

2. Applications.
■  Any production well where common polished rod is applied .
■  All production wells with possible corrosion and eccentric abrasion problems
■  Especially hostel environment such as high sand content, high water cut production wells, where common polished rod is out of services very often.

Multi-performing AOC alloy polished rods can be obtained through roughcasts of different materials selected and provided with heat processing of surface induction remelting with proper parameters.
AOC alloy polished rods can be customized  in various lengths, sizes and different connections.

5. Cases history
By June, 2008, AOC alloy polished rod had been widely used in over 30,000 wells in major oilfields of China. It survived in complicated operating conditions, and was recognized by the oilfields.
