In this December, Songshen-X managed-pressure sidetracking horizontal well in Daqing is completed by Anton Oilfield Services (Group) Ltd. (Antonoil). This success has set an example of composite application of multiple new techniques and new processes, and marked a new era of Antonoil drilling technology integration service. As well, its completion has explored a new technical method and approach for the exploration and development of Chinese oil industry.
The process characteristics and difficulties of drilling and completion of Songshen-X managed-pressure sidetracking horizontal well in Daqing Oilfield includes technologies of casing sidetracking, slim hole drilling, directional and horizontal well drilling, deep well drilling, managed-pressure drilling, igneous rock drilling and slim hole staged fracturing. The construction process and organizing are so complex and difficult that there have not ever been such success reported for Chinese onshore wells. |
