The beginning of 2010 saw the heaviest snow in the last 10 years, which makes this winter extremely cold. We always thought that snow brings the cold air when we were young. But when we grow older we begin to realize that while the snow makes the weather cold, it also carries the new hopes for the coming year.

Let us look back on the past 10 years of Anton’s growth. We started our business, and by strenuous work, we became listed on the HKEx and obtained a leading position in the oilfield service industry in China. It has been a brilliant 10 years’ period filled with our entrepreneur spirit, pains we endured for every step forward, and also the joys we shared after every success.

After this winter, we will face further goal for the next 10 years, which is to build and shape Anton into one of the global leaders in the oilfield service industry. The implication of this goal is plain to see if we take a look at the national and worldwide environment. Our country and our people are undergoing enormous innovations: our country has to enhance its global competitive power for development; China’s oil industry has to acquire the cutting edge technologies for its advancement and expansion. Thus forging Anton into a global leader for the industry bears a historical significance. I have to say that this is a difficult goal and we have to achieve a great step forward to reach it. We have to bravely challenge the limit of the environment and our own abilities, and the immense hardships we are about to face as well. After the previous 10 years’ evolvement, Anton has built up an excellent business platform with a heroical team. It is a historical mission we have to undertake, we shall complete this mission with our valuable life and ultimate passion.

During the first 10 years, we fought for our existence and the values we believed in. Only by achieving success can we establish a foothold in the society and be recognized by the public; in the second 10 years when striving for survival is no more a pursuit, we fight for our country and our people, our responsibility and honor to complete the mission we are shouldering. Every member of the Anton team should set sights on lofty ideals and keep in mind the duty of our country and our people. Anton team should regard our goal as a holy cause which is closely connected to our lives and spare no effort to achieve it. In this second 10 years, we should put aside the success we achieved in the previous 10 years; we should face our goal and maintain our aspiration and passion for a greater success. We will turn every pain into happiness and enjoy every step forward we make toward our goal.

Let us draw an image of the 10-years-later Anton. Ten years later, Anton will be a leader in the global oilfield service industry with advanced technologies; we will earn a global reputation and numerous successes with our operations spread all over the world. Anton will be a model for the domestic companies with strong global competitiveness. Our team will also expand with more and more outstanding personnel. Anton team will be a glorious team full of experiences, which makes every member feel abundantly rewarded, honored and respected. Just like the flowers and badges we wear, we will feel proud for the rest of our lives of ever serving in the Anton team.
