With the approval document Post-doctorate Regulatory Commission (NO.12, 2006), issued by National Post-doctorate Regulatory Commission, AntonOil established its Postdoctoral Programme in June 2006.

AntonOil Postdoctoral Programme obtained the vigorous supports from numerous universities and oilfield research institutes, and established sound cooperative relationship with relevant institutes. The Station made full use of the advantages of universities and research institutes in human resources and scientific research force, and recruited post-doctorate personnel to carry out analysis on R&D projects and major research topics in petroleum industry. 

With the approval of Beijing Science & Technology Commission, AntonOil, found in 2002, became a bourgeoning hi-tech enterprise. Its research projects was limited to petroleum industry, including well drilling, oil extraction and surface works; well bore and oil reservoir exploitation; oilfield base support and engineering service; new material manufacturing and fine finishing work. The Department of Intellectual Property Rights, Material Research Institute, Pipe Material Institute, Petroleum Development Research Institute and the Post-doctorate Research Station comprise Anton Research Institute, which is under the control of AntonOil. AntonOil has a strong scientific and technological team including more than 100 R&D engineers. In which, 40% of them have got master degree or above.     

In addition, AntonOil also undertakes over 10 projects as national key projects for new products, National Torch Plan projects, National Innovation Fund projects and Beijing Torch Plan projects. 

The company leaders attached vital importance to the establishment of Postdoctoral Programme, which is the prerequisite of its construction. The solid organization and implementation is the guarantee of its successful operation. According to the relevant national regulations, Postdoctoral Programme should be directed by specialist commission and regulated by designated management agency with standard management system including AntonOil’s Rules on Post-doctorate Regulatory, Evaluation and Awards. Post-doctorate Research Station will employ the China’s well-known experts in petroleum industry to instruct post-doctorates to conduct scientific and technological research; and provides the post-doctorates with sufficient research fees, daily expenditure, considerate logistics service, relaxed working environments, modernized working equipment and the most advanced labs as well as assistants. We believe that post-doctorates, during their work period in AntonOil, can give their capabilities to full play and make great contributions to the development of China’s petroleum industry.

AntonOil Postdoctoral Programme is a scientific research institute established with the approval of National Post-doctorate Regulatory Commission. Post-doctorate Research Station, jointly with Post-doctorate Mobile Station, now recruits post-doctorates both at home and abroad, and the matters concerned are notified as follows:

I.Conditions of Recruitment

1. Good political quality and moral level in accordance with laws, without bad records.
2. With doctor’s degree or to be  graduated from doctor’s degree;  healthy; less than 40 years old. 
3. With strong capability of research and development, spirits of devotion, and experience in petroleum industry preferable.
4. Recruited academic orientations include: Petroleum Geology (Reservoir Description), Oil and Gas Well Engineering, Well Logging Engineering, Oil-Gas Field Development Engineering, Oil Gas Storage and Transportation Engineering, Petroleum Machinery Engineering, Materials Science and Applied Chemistry;
5. Doctors with working experience in carrying out full-time research in  post-doctorate subjects in the Station.

III. Requirements of Application, Examination and Acceptance

Under the principle of ‘selecting in public, strict examination and accepting the best’, the Post-doctorate Research Station will recruit Post-doctorates in an open, fair and impartial way. Any applicant for the Post-doctorate research in our station shall firstly contact the Management Office of Post-doctorate Research Station, and submit the following documents (we will timely update it according to the requirements of National Post-doctorate Regulatory Commission):
 
1. Fill in Post-doctorate Application Form.
2. Select one of the topics released at the website of AntonOil, work out a research proposal (3000—5000 words) and send the above 1 and 2 to the E-mail box of the Management Office of Post-doctorate Research Station.
3. Upon receipt of the relevant materials, the Station will appoint experts to review it and determine the date of interview. The whole process of enrollment includes preliminary exam, written examination, interview and comprehensive review, including the tests of foreign language, expertise and comprehensive knowledge. Examination timetable will be notified later.
Recruited persons shall submit relevant materials according to the requirements of National Post-doctorate Regulatory Commission. Application materials will not be returned.
